One Step At a Time

Walking.160-jpg I have been without a car for a number of years now. I have used either the Metrobus or Metrorail for all my transportation needs. I share rides with my colleague to work whenever that is available. To all distances that are walkable, I simply walk such as to the post office, the grocery store, and the bank. Walking is built into my routine and I find that in this manner I get my daily bit of exercise without having to allocate a special time for it. Keeps me going through life one step at a time.

Core Exercises

That's honestly really awesome to hear, not only reducing your impact on our Earth, but staying in great shape while you are doing it! Keep up the good work!

Ten Gone

Me too!! I haven't driven a car for over ten years. My husband has to drive for work, and I'm fortunate to have him for those times when you really need a car, but for the most part I walk everywhere (with my kids, too - they're 5 and 7). We're much healthier because of it :)

I recently sold my car.. much better to walk or take the bus.
